  • Overview Look at Elbow Anatomy.
  • Discuss CPM Theory and Benefits of Use.
  • Examine the Common indications for CPM.
  • Device usage and specific protocols.

 

THE SHOULDER: A LOOK AT THE ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOGY, PATHOLOGY AND TREATMENT

Objectives:

  • Examine the basic skeletal anatomy and physiology of the shoulder joint.
  • Discuss the basic soft tissue anatomy and physiology involved with the joint.
  • Define the potential pathologies and corresponding treatments of the shoulder joint.
  •  Explain the arthrology, kinematics, and biomechanics of the shoulder joint.

 

CONTINUOUS PASSIVE MOTION THEORY AND INDICATIONS
