Hope Haven – Bringing Mobility to Underprivileged Children

Though Otto Bock's mobility products are extremely durable and designed to grow with your child, sooner or later your child may require a different product to support their needs, or your child's capabilities may advance beyond our product's features. When an "Otto Bock Kids" mobility product has outgrown its effectiveness, our company would like to encourage you to make a donation of that piece of equipment to a child in need living in a developing country.

Thanks to our partnership with Hope Haven, such a donation can be made in your child's name. Hope Haven is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization headquartered in Iowa. One of Hope Haven's most extensive activities is providing mobility equipment to disabled children and adults in developing countries around the world. Since 1994, Hope Haven has distributed 40,000 pieces of equipment worldwide. However, the need continues to outweigh the supply.

If you would like to donate your "Otto Bock Kids" mobility product once your child no longer needs it, please contact Hope Haven directly at (712) 476-3180. They will be able to then coordinate the drop off of your product at one of their many collection sites located around the United States or they can discuss shipping options with you.

Once your donation has been received you will be sent a letter from Hope Haven acknowledging your donation for tax purposes, and whenever possible, Hope Haven will provide you with a picture and information of the child or adult who benefited from your generous donation. You will see firsthand what a difference you are making in other's lives around the world.
