The Manu Neurexa is especially well suited for patients suffering from peripheral nerve damage or paralysis of the arm and wrist musculature following a stroke.

The orthosis supports and stabilizes the wrist in a neutral, functional position to promote active movement and proprioception.  In addition, the Manu Neurexa protects your hand and wrist against impacts.

PCM (phase change material) serves as the temperature-regulating textile base material, preventing overheating and excessive perspiration by the patient. It is very soft and pleasant to wear. The orthosis can be worn continuously from morning to evening, providing its therapeutic effect all day when required. Since the product is made of an elastic material combined with a rigid material, there is no risk of muscular atrophy – instead, the patient is able to actively move and stimulate the affected muscles.

Indications

Paresis of the forearm muscles resulting in weakness of the wrist, for example after a stroke, cervical disk herniation cervical plexus injury or peripheral nerve damage.
