Leckey Everyday Activity Seat
Adjustable support for daily activities
The Leckey Everyday Activity Seat supports children aged one to 18 years old in everyday situations. Thanks to its many options and accessories, the activity seat can be used to correct numerous postural weaknesses and for sensory training.
The 4-point lap belt on the Everyday Activity Seat ensures optimal pelvic positioning. The seat also comes with additional head, trunk, leg and foot adjustment options.
With optimal postural stability and comfort achieved, children are able to move their arms and hands effectively and without major restrictions.
Since the Everyday Activity Seat is adjustable from floor to table height (Hi-Low mobility base), various activities are made easier and less strenuous – for instance playing, eating, reading, writing and chatting with friends at eye level.
It is especially narrow so it finds space anywhere at home. Children particularly enjoy the bright colors and cozy design.
The Everyday Activity Seat is easy to adjust, so it can be adapted to the growth or physical changes of your child – in just a few steps.
Soft abductor wedge
The soft, upholstered abductor wedge maintains distance between the legs if needed
Height-adjustable mobility base
The Hi-Low mobility base offers a large height adjustment range. This allows the child to sit very low, for example in a circle at school, or very high, for instance at the dining table. This is easily accomplished using a pedal that can be operated with your foot.
Adaptable foot shells
The height and angle of the Hi-Low footplate can be adjusted. The footplate can also be flipped up entirely so the child can get out of the seat more easily. It is available in metal or wood.
The foot shells are easy to adjust in depth and angle for every child. You can also go higher with additional foot shell raisers (not shown)
Changing the seat angle
The seat angle can be adjusted even when the child is in the activity seat, for example to tilt the seat back when the child wants to rest or forward in order to make getting up easier.
Variety of lateral supports
Every child is built differently and requires unique support. This is why a large selection of angle and height-adjustable lateral supports is available for the Everyday activity seat. They support the torso, provide stable support for the upper body and also guide the arms if applicable. Standard supports as well as folding or complex lateral supports provide the right level of support for just about any child.
The backrest is adaptable.
The backrest adapts to the child. The height and angle are individually adjustable. The back angle can be opened up for resting, for example after a meal, or can be closed to promote trunk and head control. Pads can also be installed in the pelvic region to support a neutral or forward tilting pelvis position.
Lap belt for body posture
The 4-point lap belt is adjustable to provide secure, stable posture support while sitting. Padding ensures enhanced comfort. You can adjust it so that your child's body stays centred.
The height and depth of the contoured headrest can be adapted to the needs of the child. The headrest improves the posture of the upper spine. Depending on the requirements, we also offer a flat headrest or a flat headrest with lateral guides.
You can adjust the seat width with the soft, padded pelvic supports. They provide additional stability and greater comfort.
Advantages for you
Optimum posture and stability
The additional support of a lap belt benefits children with moderate postural control needs. Pelvis stability is the foundation for the overall posture. The 4-point lap belt on the Everyday Activity Seat ensures optimal pelvic positioning.
Hi-Low mobility base, continuously adjustable (optional)
The Hi-Low mobility base is continuously adjustable to current requirements using a convenient foot pedal, for example for activities higher up at a table or lower down close to the floor.
Easy adaptation and child-friendly colours
The Everyday Activity Seat is easy to adapt to growth or physical development. It is available in three child-friendly colour combinations and a comfortable design.
