1D35 Dynamic Motion Foot

Put a spring in your step!

Next Generation Dynamic Foot by Otto Bock

We've refined the shape of our 1D25 "S"-spring and incorporated multidurometer dynamic foam and forefoot spacer fabric to offer more controlled movement in all planes. And the interaction between the "S"-spring, heel strap and elastic foam creates a smooth motion from heel strike to toe off.

For your patient the results will be obvious: more comfortable heel strike and plantar fl exion, smoother progressive roll-over, improved terrain conformance, and a more dynamic toe-off. Whether they’re taking care of the kids, on their way to work, or out for a walk with the family, the 1D35 will put a defi nite spring in their step.

Biomechanical Performance

The ankle moment graphs below highlight the smooth, balanced rollover characteristics of the 1D35
and show how it closely replicates the function of the natural foot. The peak of the curve during the ankle moment (Fig.1) is only slightly below that of the sound foot, which results in a reduction of the impact forces on the contralateral limb. During the fi rst peak of ground reaction force at heel strike (Fig.2) it can be seen that there are only small differences between the prosthetic foot and the sound foot — which produces near normal loading forces on the affected limb.

Advantages

  • Optimized heel strike with enhanced plantar flexion offers more natural motion.

  • Progressive characteristics of the ankle moment in mid-stance create a smoother and more natural rollover and make walking easier.

  • Improved anterior/posterior and medial/lateral motion for greater terrain conformance.

  • 3-D spacer fabric in forefoot improves energy storage and energy return.

  • Detachable foam connection cap for easy connection to the foam cover.

Warranty Duration

1 year standard warranty or 2 years if used as part of the "Otto Bock Lower Limb Advantage". Please refer to the instructions for use accompanying the product for complete information.
