Kimba - Styling and Soft Goods Accessories

The Kimba comes in a standard silver frame color with two styles of upholstery. Otto Bock Kids also offers a whole range of padding and other soft good accessories to help you custom the Kimba MPS seat to your child's specific needs.

Kimba Medical Necessities Bag
	A place for the child or caregiver to store items that will be needed throughout the day. Product Number 662T13 Indications: Child needs to carry medication or equipment.
Elbow Positioning Pads
	Designed to enable or assist the child in maintaining a neutral position of the upper extremities when using a tray. Cannot be used without the positioning tray, They also prevent retraction during tilting and reclining. Product Number PS00A=P-B Indications: Child can't maintain neutral position in upper extremities when using a tray
Kimba Foot Straps with Velcro
	Helps maintain the feet in a neutral position Product Number PS00A=FS Indications: Child can't maintain feet in a neutral position
Kimba Undercut Seat
	Decreases the risk of pressure sores in the popliteal fossa areas from knee flexion contractures. Size Product Number Size 1 PS10A=SUC Size 2 PS20A=SUC Indications: Child has limited knee extension range
Kimba Headrests with Adjustable Hardware
	The Kimba has three different headrests, available in two sizes with adjustable hardware that enables infinite head positioning. Rotationally the hardware allows increased occipital support and accommodates changes in cervical flexion and extension positioning. The Fixed-Wing Headrest offers lateral support of the head. The Adjustable Wing Headrest allows therapists to provide the child with varying angles of lateral support. Kimba Footplate Padding
	Footplate buildup padding is offered for kids who either don't wear shoes or have significant foot deformities and can't wear shoes. Product Number PS00A=RPB-B Indications: Child has a foot deformity or doesn't wear shoes and therefore would be at risk
Kimba Padded Positioning Belt
Maintains the position of the pelvis in the Kimba seating unit and prevents the child from sliding forward. Size Product Number Size 1 PS00A=PB11B Size 2 PS00A=PB12B Indications: Child needs pelvic support
Kimba Butterfly Harness with Snap Closure
Snaps open and does not have to be lifted over the child's head - the caregiver doesn't have to worry about the child's face , or a tracheotomy tube if the child has one, when removing or placing the harness. Assists the child with maintaining an upright posture. Helps decrease kyphotic sitting posture and maintains an optimal position for breathing. Should not be used without a padded positioning belt.
