Nu-Tec Lateral Thoracic Supports:
Shipped in pairs complete with brackets, pads, and fasteners. Standard pads have ½” neoprene foam medially and ¼” foam on the lateral aspect. Overall thickness of the pad is approximately ¾”. Thin pads are available as a no charge option.
Standard Pad sizes are:
- Small 3” high x 4” long
- Medium 4” high x 5” long
- Large 5” high x 6” long
Custom pads up to 6” high x 8” long are available without an upcharge. Please give part number, pad sizes, user chest width, actual backrest width and upholstery color at time of order.
Fixed Lateral Thoracic Supports
Aluminum brackets combine strength and low weight, while providing good durability. Flat pads are standard (curved pads are a n/c option). Standard brackets have a 5” anterior/posterior measurement and fit backs up to 3” overall thickness. Brackets are convertible to Summer/Winter with the addition of Receiver Brackets. Flush mount is standard.

Push Button Swingaway Lateral Thoracic Supports
These supports use premium bracketry which has 3 part modular configuration. In addition it has an easy to release swingaway hinge that is also very strong and durable. Brackets come standard with flush and 1” medial offset extension brackets.

Summer/Winter Fixed Lateral Thoracic Supports
Hardware allows the brackets and pads to be adjusted laterally to compensate for changes in clothing thickness. It also allows the supports to be quick release to facilitate easier transfers. Should not be used with backs that are between the back post mount unless an I-modification is used.

Nu-Tec Lateral Hip and Thigh Supports:
Lateral hip and thigh supports help position the pelvis on the seating surface by preventing unwanted lateral movement. These pads are fabricated from high quality materials and are attached to the seat with strong, aluminum brackets. Please specify height, length, and thickness of the pads. (Standard thickness is 1” overall) Flush mount brackets will be sent unless specified otherwise. Seat width, seat thickness and user hip width measurements will ensure that proper brackets will be supplied.
Fixed Lateral Hip Supports
These supports use a slotted bracket to provide lateral adjustability. Various offsets and bracket heights available.

These supports use a detachable pad that can be easily removed to facilitate lateral transfers.

Nu-Tec Medial Thigh Supports:
Medial Thigh Supports (Hip Abductor) are designed to decrease excessive hip adduction by placing a pad between the medial aspects of the distal thighs. The pads are height and depth adjustable. Please specify pad size, seat thickness, and upholstery option. Available in custom sizes and in three standard sizes.

These armrests attach to seat mounted lateral hip supports. Please specify pad width, pad length and upholstery color. Standard foam is 1” of high density. Other thicknesses and types of foam are available upon request. Track mounting system allows easy anterior/posterior adjustments. Available in fixed height or adjustable height models

Our comprehensive line of positioning belts is designed to aid in the proper positioning of a child. These belts are not intended for, nor should they be used in place of safety belts in motor vehicles or other applications which require a safety belt.
Hip Belts
Most of our hip belts have anchor plates and slides for attachment and initial adjustement. This mounting method provides improved security and also makes it simple to maintain adjustment. Grommet attachments available upon request.

H - Belts
These belts help provide upper body support by keeping the shoulders and upper chest in a more upright position. The shoulder straps are padded. These are available in standard (static) or in dynamic configurations. The dynamic belts allow the client to move within a narrow range of motion.
