Patella Lux Knee Support #7158

The unique design of this knee support provides lateral or medial stabilization of either knee. The crescent-shaped pad is placed on the lateral or medial side of the patella where stabilization is needed. That pad is connected to a network of straps that can be appropriately adjusted to the individual.

Indications

Lateral or medial subluxation of the patella, anterior knee pain; prevention of hyperextension.

Instructions For 7158 Patella Lux Knee Support

Open all support straps. Wrap the support around the knee with the logo on the outside of the patella and the horseshoe pad on the side that needs stabilization. The pad should fit snugly around the edge of the patella.

Attach the hook & loop straps (A & B) at the side of the support. The soft, breathable material under the straps should cover the skin and protect against possible irritation.

Cross the two remaining straps located behind the knee. Thread the hook end of these straps through the D-rings and attach onto the loop side of the strap, starting with the lower strap. This will lift the patella slightly as medial or lateral stabilization is applied.

Attach the upper strap. Flex and extend the knee. There should be slight pressure to either the lateral or medial side where stabilization is needed. Re-adjust the straps as necessary.

Washing Instructions

Close the hook & loop straps before washing. Hand wash in warm water with a gentle detergent. Blot dry between two towels, then let air dry.
