Our patented ABD Lock System Hip Abduction Orthosis offers innovative solutions everywhere you look. Designed as an abduction orthosis for indications including post hip replacement surgery, hip dysplagia, and adductor spasticity, the ABD Lock outperforms the competition—even the need for inventory.
The light, durable 28L60 Articulating Joint offers an almost infinite range of secure abduction/adduction and flexion/extension settings. The Articulating Joint is the only hip joint available with a drop lock option, and its patented design enables infinite locking within its range. The joint can be used with a wide assortment of proximal and distal connector bars to ensure correct fit.
The 28L61 Universal Pelvic Component includes a patented interlocking panel system that allows for almost infinite fitting options while locking securely in place to hold sizing adjustments. It includes bilateral reliefs that allow it to work with either right or left application as well as adjustable foam pads that can be placed wherever they’re needed.
The patent-pending 28L62 Universal Thigh Component is a unique, locking pivot system that helps you achieve the best possible fit for your patient by letting you shift the two lateral sections to accommodate almost any thigh anatomy. It provides your patient with comfort where they need it, while also gaining superior soft tissue purchase.

Patent Indications
The ABD Lock System is indicated for those patients who have undergone hip replacement or hip revision surgery or who have had a hip fracture or dislocation.
