Ottobock to Host Austin Mayor Steve Adler at North American Headquarters

AUSTIN, Texas (February 13, 2017) – Austin-based Ottobock HealthCare, a global leader in orthotic, prosthetic and rehabilitative products will host Mayor Steve Adler at its North American headquarters on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 12pm to 1pm.

During Mayor Adler’s visit, he’ll be meeting with Ottobock leadership and speaking with employees. Additionally, Mayor Adler will be meeting with YTEXAS during his visit. YTEXAS is an organization that accelerates CEO connectivity and corporate presence for companies newly relocated to Texas.

Ottobock relocated to Austin, Texas from Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2014 and now resides in the high tech corridor of northwest Austin. Today, Ottobock employs over 100 people at its headquarters in Austin and nearly 600 throughout North America.

Ottobock HealthCare is widely known as a designer and manufacturer of upper and lower limb prosthetics; modular, custom and off-the-shelf orthotics; mobility products for children; and unique seating solutions to support persons with disabilities. Ottobock is also a leader in governmental affairs, insurance industry issues, training and education, service and support and patient-care consulting.
