Ottobock announces new hire of Vice President of Orthotics Business Unit

Industry veteran Chris Nolan brought on as Vice President of the Orthotics business unit for North America.

Austin, TX (September 27, 2016) – In line with its commitment to being a leader in Orthotics, Ottobock North America is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Nolan as Vice President of the Orthotics business unit. In his new position, Nolan will help lead Ottobock’s strategic effort in the O&P industry and provide guidance into growing new markets. He is also a member of the Ottobock North America Regional Management Team.

Nolan comes to Ottobock with extensive industry experience, most recently as Vice President and General Manager for Endolite US. During his more than eight years of tenure at Endolite, he served four years on the Board of Directors helping to shape the strategic direction of the company while interacting with the international management team. Prior to that, Nolan held the positions of Regional Sales Director for DJO and Regional Sales Manager for Ossur. Nolan graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

While Chris has enjoyed more than 15 years working in the orthotics and prosthetics industry, he has also given his time and talents by serving on numerous Boards of Directors. He currently serves on the board for the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association as Chairman of the National Assembly Committee, which organizes the industry’s largest scientific symposium. Chris also serves on the board for The First Tee of Greater Miami Valley which promotes youth development through the game of golf. Chris has previously served on the boards for the National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics and the Sycamore Creek Country Club. The Nolan family is currently relocating from Springboro, Ohio to Austin, Texas.
